The College of Staten Island CUNY enrolls 12,211 undergrads

At the College of Staten Island CUNY, 81 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Staten Island enrolled 13,247 students in fall 2018, including 12,211 in undergraduate and 1,036 in graduate programs, data shows. 5.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

98 percent of undergraduates are residents of New York. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (43 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (27 percent).
