Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis issued a statement following the House's approval of a Continuing Resolution designed to prevent a government shutdown. The resolution aims to maintain government funding at current levels, provide aid for Americans affected by natural disasters, and protect agricultural supply chains.

Malliotakis expressed her support for the revised funding package, stating: “This revised funding package allows Congress to address the basics of what needs to be done to keep our government funded at current levels, deliver aid to our fellow Americans suffering from natural disasters and protect our agricultural supply chains." She further criticized previous proposals, describing them as "over 1,500 pages long" with "unnecessary and costly giveaways."

The Congresswoman emphasized that passing this legislation is essential until President Trump assumes office. She remarked that it would enable the Republican majority to fulfill their commitments: "Passing this legislation today gives us what we need until President Trump is sworn in and settled so our Republican trifecta can deliver the results the American people voted for.”
