On April 16, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis's office tweeted about participating in a community event. They stated, "Our office joined Brenda (Kiko) Charles, Resident Association President, and NYCHA CEO Lisa Bova-Hiatt, along with residents and other community leaders for the ribbon-cutting of the newly renovated NYCHA Mariners Harbor Community Center." The event signifies an investment in local community resources and facilities.

Malliotakis wrote, "I joined colleagues in reiterating to House leadership that we MUST protect Medicaid and ensure that the final reconciliation package does NOT reduce the benefits that our seniors, disabled & most vulnerable citizens rely on."
