On March 12, 2025, Malliotakis expressed her satisfaction in hosting a group of New York City school principals and the new CSA President Henry Rubio at the Capitol. She acknowledged their contributions to student support and accommodations by stating "Nicole was happy to welcome a group of NYC school principals and new CSA President Henry Rubio to the Capitol. We appreciate the work they do to support students and ensure that they have the accommodations needed to succeed."

Later that day, she attended an event celebrating Irish-American relations. In a tweet from March 12, she mentioned participating in the Friends of Ireland luncheon alongside prominent figures such as former President Trump, Speaker Johnson, and Ireland’s Prime Minister Michael Martin. On March 13, Malliotakis addressed a funding resolution issue through another tweet. She urged those who supported a funding resolution in December to continue their support to prevent a government shutdown. Her statement emphasized that this resolution involves no partisan policy changes or gimmicks but includes modest increases for defense and security measures: "If you voted for funding resolution in December, you should be voting to continue it now to avert a government shutdown. This is a continuation of funding with no gimmicks or partisan policy and the only modest increases are for our defense, border security, military pay,…"
