Later that day, she posted about meeting with Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith and Puerto Rico's Governor Jenniffer González-Colón at the Capitol. The discussion focused on extending the rum excise tax and repatriating pharmaceutical manufacturing to Puerto Rico and other parts of the United States. "Ways and Means Chairman @RepJasonSmith and I welcomed Puerto Rico’s Governor @Jenniffer to the Capitol today to discuss the extension of the rum excise tax and repatriating pharmaceutical & other critical supply chain manufacturing to the island and across the USA!"

In another tweet from March 4, Malliotakis mentioned her meeting with representatives from New York City fire unions UFANYC and UFOA854. The discussion centered around protecting and extending the World Trade Center Health Program, which provides medical monitoring and treatment for individuals affected by illnesses related to September 11 attacks. "It was great meeting with the @UFANYC & @UFOA854 today as we work together to protect and extend the World Trade Center Health Program that provides medical monitoring and treatment to the heroes and civilians suffering from 9/11 illnesses."
