Nicole Malliotakis, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 11th district, has shared recent legislative achievements and community efforts via social media. Her office posted updates on Twitter regarding the progress of her legislation and other initiatives aimed at supporting constituents.

On February 18, 2025, Malliotakis announced that her legislation designed to protect taxpayers from recurring check fraud had passed unanimously out of the Ways and Means Committee. The post stated: "Nicole’s legislation to protect taxpayers from becoming repeat victims of check fraud has passed UNANIMOUSLY out of the @WaysandMeansGOP Committee!"

Later that day, she urged individuals to consider using direct deposit as a preventative measure against check fraud. The tweet read: "We urge everyone to consider signing up for direct deposit to avoid becoming a victim of check fraud."

Additionally, Malliotakis highlighted her office's involvement in assisting a 9/11 survivor in obtaining further compensation due to health issues linked to toxic chemical exposure. She noted: "Our office recently assisted a 9/11 survivor in securing additional compensation for a second cancer that was caused by exposure to toxic chemicals."
