On February 14, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis expressed her commitment to reducing the tax burden on senior citizens by advocating for less of their retirement income to be taxable. She stated: "Reducing the tax burden on our seniors & allowing them to keep more of their hard-earned money has been a priority of mine. That’s why I’m fighting to make less of their retirement income taxable!"
Later that day, she highlighted her role in leading a bipartisan initiative aimed at strengthening USDA inspections and imposing penalties for violations related to animal cruelty. On February 15, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis called for an investigation by the Department of Justice into the misuse of certain apps for illicit activities. She urged cooperation from the companies operating these platforms: “The Department of Justice should investigate how these apps are being utilized for nefarious activity and get cooperation from the companies that operate them,” said Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY).
