Nicole Malliotakis, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New York's 11th district, has shared her views on recent political and social developments through a series of tweets. Malliotakis, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Max Rose, is known for her active engagement on social media.

On January 31, 2025, Malliotakis addressed concerns about violence and criminal activity in urban areas. In a tweet directed at Rep. Jeffries, she stated: "No thanks, @RepJeffries. We have enough violence and criminal activity on the streets of our city thanks to Democrat policies. We don’t need Members of Congress inciting more."

The following day, February 1, 2025, she highlighted an international development involving the release of hostages by Hamas and Venezuela. She praised former President Trump for his efforts in prioritizing the repatriation of American citizens: "More hostages have been released by Hamas and Venezuela! President Trump has prioritized the repatriation of American citizens and now 7 of our fellow Americans are being reunited with loved ones. Peace through strength is back!"

Later that day, Malliotakis expressed pride in a local tradition related to Groundhog Day: "We’re proud to represent the most accurate groundhog in America!"
