The Office of Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who serves New York's 11th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting her positions on energy policy and animal testing. Malliotakis, who has been in office since 2021 after replacing Max Rose, addressed these issues through social media posts.
On January 22, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis expressed support for actions taken by the President to enhance America's energy independence. She stated that "Thanks to @POTUS, America will be energy dominant & affordable again! On DAY ONE he: Withdrew from the Paris Climate Accord Reversed Biden's climate extremism Streamlined permitting & removed burdens on energy production Empowered consumer choice in vehicles & home…" here.
Later that day, she advocated for ending animal testing in U.S. laboratories. In her tweet at 18:09 UTC, she mentioned that "We can save innocent animals and taxpayer money by ending cruel and unnecessary experiments in U.S. labs. The time to end this antiquated and inhumane practice is NOW!" here.
Continuing her advocacy against animal testing, on January 23, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis joined Real America's Voice to discuss strategies with House Republicans for reducing government spending on such practices. She tweeted: "I joined @RealAmVoice to promote ways @HouseGOP can cut unnecessary government spending on cruel animal testing—both here in the U.S. & overseas. We’re ready to work with @POTUS to END these inhumane & costly experiments!" here.
