Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis has addressed concerns about unidentified drones flying over Staten Island. The drones have been reportedly seen near locations such as 1441 South Ave., Howland Hook Marine Terminal, and other areas on the island.

Malliotakis stated, "Following reports of unidentified flying objects that appear to be drones flying above Staten Island, I’ve requested that the Federal Aviation Administration impose temporary drone flight restrictions in the area, in addition to requesting immediate briefings from the Department of Homeland Security and Federal Bureau of Investigation."

She emphasized the need for authorities to investigate these incidents promptly and inform the public about the purpose of these drones. Malliotakis urged residents who spot these drones to contact the FBI at 1-800-225-5324 and submit any video evidence through www.tips.fbi.gov.
