Nicole Malliotakis, a U.S. Congress representative for New York's 11th district, shared updates and reflections through her office's social media account on November 27, 2024. The posts highlight her involvement in community activities and commentary on public administration.
On November 27, 2024, Malliotakis participated in a community event alongside Councilman David Carr and the humanitarian organization Embrace Relief. They delivered turkeys to seniors and residents of NYCHA. In the tweet, she expressed well wishes for Thanksgiving: "Nicole joined members of the community, Councilman @CMDMCarr & humanitarian organization @EmbraceRelief to deliver turkeys to seniors and residents of @NYCHA. We wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving!"
Later that day, Malliotakis acknowledged the service of Jen Nersesian, Superintendent of Gateway National Recreation Area. Nersesian concluded her tenure serving New York and New Jersey communities to take on a new role overseeing federal parkland in Washington D.C.: "This week our @NPS Gateway National Recreation Area Superintendent Jen Nersesian concluded her service to our community and will be serving in a new role overseeing all federal parkland, monuments & memorials in Washington DC. We thank her for her 11 years of service to NY & NJ…"
In another post from November 27, 2024, Malliotakis made a suggestion regarding potential improvements at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). She proposed that Governor Kathy Hochul consult with Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy about creating efficiencies: “Maybe what we really need is @GovKathyHochul to ask @ElonMusk and @VivekGRamaswamy to create a @DOGE at the @MTA to identify and cut the waste,” Malliotakis said.
