On November 20, 2024, Malliotakis announced a special delivery of Holtermann’s Bakery Charlotte Russe Cakes to the U.S. Capitol for her congressional colleagues. She expressed pride in representing Holtermann’s and enthusiasm about sharing the treat. In another tweet on November 20, 2024, Malliotakis addressed issues concerning sanctuary policies in New York City. She criticized these policies following an incident involving Laken's murderer and urged Democrats to reconsider their stance on providing sanctuary to criminals. "We hope New York Democrats learn from this tragedy and STOP providing sanctuary to criminals, as they did for Laken's murderer. Had they turned this monster over to @ICEgov instead of releasing him back onto our streets after his arrest by NYPD, Laken would be alive today!"
