Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who serves New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates on November 20, 2024, through her social media account. Her posts highlighted engagements with local business communities and a cultural treat from a longstanding Staten Island bakery.

In one of her tweets from November 20, Malliotakis expressed enthusiasm about hosting members of the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce in Washington D.C. She stated: "It was great to have members of the @BrooklynChamber in DC this week, including #Brooklyn business owners, non-profits, & community leaders. We discussed preventing the expiration of TCJA provisions that benefit our small businesses, Congestion Pricing & support for #NYC's safety…".

On the same day at a later time, she posted about sharing a famous dessert with her colleagues on Capitol Hill. Malliotakis tweeted: "They’ve arrived! All the way from #StatenIsland New York, Whoopi Goldberg’s FAVORITE Charlotte Russe cakes from our 146-year-old staple Holtermann’s Bakery. Everyone’s been asking me about them so we’ll be handing them out to members and staff on the House Steps at 4:30!".

Later that evening, she again mentioned distributing sweets from Holtermann's Bakery among her congressional colleagues. The tweet read: "Happy to share some sweet treats from Holtermann’s Bakery with my colleagues in Congress. Proud to represent this 146 year old small business! #StatenIsland".
