(WASHINGTON, DC) - Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis (NY-11) expressed strong criticism towards President Biden's State of the Union Address. Malliotakis highlighted the disparity between the President's optimistic portrayal and the harsh realities faced by Americans. She emphasized that the current administration has led to decreased security, safety, and prosperity, with rising costs making living in America unaffordable for many.

Malliotakis also pointed out the immigration crisis, stating, "More than 10 million migrants have crossed our border illegally since he took office, including 340 on the terrorist watch list." She criticized Biden for deflecting blame onto Congress and urged him to take responsibility for the crises his policies have exacerbated.

While acknowledging the challenges posed by the administration's far-left agenda, Malliotakis underscored the efforts of House Republicans in opposing certain policies. She mentioned achievements such as defunding IRS agents, promoting domestic energy production, and securing the border. However, she insisted that true resolution of the damage caused by the administration requires President Biden to address the underlying issues honestly.

Malliotakis concluded by asserting, "Until then he’s doing a major disservice the American people who deserve commonsense leadership at all levels of government."
