Today students, staff, family members and friends came together to celebrate the life of Anthony Coccaro. A memorial Mass was held today, not to grieve or provide closure but to celebrate the life which Anthony Coccaro brought to us all.
Mr. Coccaro, in a very short time, touched so many lives in such a positive way. Whether it was by a good morning wave and smile, working with his students or working at being the best he could for the children entrusted to him, he did it all with a great demeanor. Going as far as reaching out to others because he was so concerned that he was not the best teacher for the children. Little did he know that he was more than they could have asked for.
The biggest take-away concerning Mr. C. is that sometimes those that have made the biggest impact on the lives around them don’t even realize it. His personality wasn’t that of a tsunami, but through his gentle ripple effects his memory will be everlasting.
