Nicole Malliotakis, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 11th district, recently shared her perspectives on various legislative issues through a series of tweets. Drawing from her background, including a decade in the New York State Assembly and now her ongoing role in Congress since 2021, she addressed both fiscal and electoral matters, as well as political leadership in the House.

On April 10, 2025, Representative Malliotakis commented on the national debt and budgetary practices. She expressed understanding toward her colleagues' desire for significant budget cuts but emphasized that it is essential to recognize "our debt is a result of decades of misguided tax and spend policies and it will not be erased overnight."

Additionally, the same day, Malliotakis announced the passage of legislation that she cosponsored, aimed at tightening voter registration requirements. Citing a recent example from New York City, she stated, "The House just passed legislation I cosponsored to require states to verify U.S. citizenship for voter registration."

Furthermore, Representative Malliotakis expressed her support for fellow Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik's appointment as the Chairwoman of the House Republican Leadership. Praising her colleague's leadership and advocacy efforts, Malliotakis stated, "Proud to welcome back my friend @RepStefanik to the ranks of @HouseGOP as Chairwoman of the House Republican Leadership."

Malliotakis, a Staten Island resident, continues her legislative work in Congress, focusing on related fiscal and electoral policies. She holds a BA from Seton Hall University and a degree from Wagner College, contributing to her informed stance on these matters.
