Nicole Malliotakis' office assists NYC sanitation worker with delayed 9/11 compensation

The Office of Representative Nicole Malliotakis recently shared several updates on their official social media account. These posts highlight the office's ongoing efforts in various community and national matters.

On March 18, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis' office announced its success in assisting a former New York City Sanitation worker to secure compensation related to the 9/11 events after experiencing a five-year delay. The post stated: "Our office recently helped a former NYC Sanitation worker secure 9/11 compensation after a five-year delay. Read more  https://t.co/KQrU87RtYp".

Later that day, another tweet expressed optimism about progress towards peace: "A positive development as we work toward long term peace… https://t.co/0oG20dP1jp".

On March 19, 2025, the office shared their participation in an event at the Bay Ridge Center celebrating its first year at a new facility. The tweet read: "Our office was happy to join the Bay Ridge Center as the seniors celebrated one year at their new facility. We were happy to secure the federal funding necessary to finish the project and are glad Brooklyn’s senior citizens are enjoying it! https://t.co/W1t5fxArIB".
