On Saturday, March 7, Tara Murphy, a former St. Joseph Hill Academy High School standout, helped lead her collegiate team, the Washington Bears, to a 73-68 victory over the Ohio Wesleyan Battling Bishops in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup was held at Branch Rickey Arena at 7:15 p.m., marking the Bears’ first tournament game against the Battling Bishops.
Washington Bears are set to play their next tournament game on Friday, March 13 at 8 p.m. at Kolf Sports Center.
