Tara Murphy, a former St. Joseph Hill Academy High School player, helped her current team, the Washington Bears, defeat the Geneseo Knights 65-53 in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 6.
The contest, held at Branch Rickey Arena at 4:45 p.m., marked the Bears’ first tournament clash with Geneseo.
Washington will take on its next opponent on Saturday, March 7 at 7:15 p.m. at Branch Rickey Arena.
