Former St. Peter’s High School standout Joseph Mennella helped lead the Wagner Seahawks in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights on Sunday, March 8, at 11 a.m., where Wagner dropped the contest 8-6.
The game was held at SIUH Community Park and marked the third meeting between the teams this season. Wagner defeated the Knights 13-6 in their prior contest Saturday, March 7.
Mennella tallied one hit in two at-bats, scored one run, drove in three runs, drew three walks, and had one strikeout.
The Seahawks are next scheduled to play Tuesday, March 10, at 3 p.m. against Rutgers Scarlet Knights at Bainton Field.
