Former St. Joseph-By-The-Sea High School standout Caitlin McTiernan and the SUNY Oneonta Red Dragons were defeated 12-0 by the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens in their NCAA Division III softball game on Wednesday, March 18, at 4 p.m.

Wig Beach Field was the site for their second meeting of the season. The Red Dragons also lost the earlier contest that day, falling 10-2 to the Sagehens.

McTiernan gave up three earned runs in 0.2 innings pitched.

Next up for the Red Dragons is a game against the Chapman Panthers at W.O. Hart Park, set for Friday, March 20, at 3 p.m.
