On Sunday, March 16, former St. Joseph-By-The-Sea High School standout Gaetano Pennisi’s current college team, the Mercy Mavericks, won 10-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Kutztown Golden Bears.
The game took place at Mercy Field. This was their fourth matchup against the Golden Bears this season.
The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 3 p.m. at Peter X. Finnerty Field against Pace Setter.
