Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed her constituents on social media with messages focused on community celebrations, local quality-of-life issues, and tax relief for seniors.
On April 1, 2026, Malliotakis extended Passover greetings to Jewish residents in her district: “Chag Pesach Sameach! Wishing our Jewish neighbors across Brooklyn and Staten Island a joyful and meaningful Passover. May this season of freedom bring peace, strength, and blessings to you and your families.”
The following day, she highlighted efforts to address helicopter noise in the area. On April 2, 2026, she wrote: “Excessive helicopter noise has negatively impacted our community. That’s why I’ve joined bipartisan colleagues in pushing new legislation to force @FAANews to act and put an end to this ongoing nuisance.”
Later that same day, Malliotakis shared news about a new tax deduction for seniors: “This tax season, seniors will keep more of their hard-earned money thanks to a new $6,000 deduction Nicole championed. 88% of seniors will receive the taxes they paid on Social Security back!”
Malliotakis has served as the representative for New York’s 11th District since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and currently resides in Staten Island. Malliotakis is an alumna of Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
