Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of topics on her official Twitter account this week, including Holocaust remembrance and recent tax policy changes.
On April 14, 2026, Malliotakis marked Yom HaShoah with a statement honoring Holocaust victims and survivors. She wrote, “On Yom HaShoah, we remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and honor the survivors. We must always stand against and condemn antisemitism in all its forms.”
The following day, on April 15, she highlighted tax relief measures benefiting Americans. In one post she stated, “This Tax Day, working Americans, middle-class families and senior citizens are saving more thanks to @HouseGOP Tax Cuts. Here’s the most popular provisions saving you money:” Later that day she added, “Instead of the 22% increase Democrats wanted, Americans are seeing an average 11% cut—because we believe it’s your money, and it should be in your pockets. Lots of politicians promise to cut your taxes—we actually did!”
Malliotakis has served in Congress since 2021 after defeating Max Rose. Before her tenure in Washington D.C., she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age 42, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
