Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on her official social media account regarding recent legislative initiatives and national security developments.
On March 9, 2026, Malliotakis announced her participation in introducing new legislation focused on maritime transportation. She wrote, “I join my Ferry Caucus colleagues in introducing the Federal Enhancement and Revitalization of Reliable Infrastructure for Essential Seaways (FERRIES) Act. As the Representative of a district that depends on maritime transportation, including the Staten Island Ferry and NYC Ferry” (March 9, 2026).
Later that day, she publicly thanked former President Donald Trump with a brief message: “Thank you President Trump! @WhiteHouse” (March 9, 2026).
On March 10, Malliotakis commented on U.S. military operations targeting Iranian assets. She stated, “Our military is the best in the world and they are meeting their objectives of destroying the Iranian command structure, drone & missile capabilities and oil infrastructure that has funded terrorism and the killing of Americans in record time. When the mission is complete, the” (March 10, 2026).
Malliotakis has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Max Rose and previously held office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
