Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district, shared several updates on March 20, 2026, through her official social media account. The posts addressed topics ranging from a local art competition to legislative action and community concerns in Brooklyn.
In her first post of the day, Malliotakis announced an opportunity for young artists: “I am pleased to announce this year’s Congressional Art Competition and invite high school students across our district to showcase their incredible artistic talents. Later that afternoon, she highlighted her involvement in a local issue alongside other officials and residents: “Nicole joined @SenSteveChan, Community Board 11 & local Bensonhurst residents to oppose another property owner receiving a ludicrous contract to turn commercial property into a homeless shelter with ZERO input from local #Brooklyn community. https://t.co/yemgyH15tR” (March 20, 2026).
In the evening, Malliotakis discussed federal funding for transportation security and new legislation: “.@TSA is funded in part by fees paid by travelers, and those dollars should be used as intended. I join @RepLangworthy in introducing the Pay TSA Act, ensuring those dedicated funds keep TSA agents paid & fully staffed. Of course, it would be preferable for Democrats to just stop https://t.co/NnBWnzh9sc” (March 20, 2026).
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since replacing Max Rose in Congress in 2021. Before serving in Congress, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age 42, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
