On May 2, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis expressed her support, with backing from the President, to defund New York City migrant shelters. Later that day, another tweet from Rep. On May 3, 2025, Rep. Malliotakis engaged with members of the cosmetics industry to advocate for the Humane Cosmetics Act. This bipartisan bill aims to eliminate new animal testing in the cosmetics industry. She highlighted scientific advancements as avenues to end these practices.
