On Tuesday, March 18, former St. Mary’s School standout Trent Rumley’s current college team, the Canisius Golden Griffins, lost 11-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Niagara Purple Eagles.

The game took place at John P. Bobo Field. This was their first matchup against the Purple Eagles this season.

The Golden Griffins’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Joseph J. Jaroschak Field against Saint Peter’s Peacocks.
