On Sunday, March 16, three former St. Peter’s Boys’ High School standouts, including Julian Velazquez, Matt Zguro and Nick Chiaia’s current college team, the Iona Gaels, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers.
The game took place at City Park Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Mountaineers this season.
The Gaels’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 12 a.m. at SIUH Community Park against Wagner Seahawks.
