Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district, shared updates on recent developments in Brooklyn and Staten Island through a series of posts on her official account in December 2025.
On December 8, Malliotakis highlighted the launch of a new ferry service by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), stating: “A great day for both Brooklyn & Staten Island as @NYCEDC launches the new @NYCferry connecting #StatenIsland and #Brooklyn. Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since 2021 after serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and currently resides in Staten Island. Her academic background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
