Nicole Malliotakis, a U.S. Congress member representing New York’s 11th district, shared several messages on her social media platform this week. Her posts reflected both commemorative sentiments and local developments.
On June 14, 2025, Malliotakis marked the significant milestone of the United States Army’s 250th anniversary with a message honoring the service members. She stated: “This 250th Anniversary of the United States Army is a day to celebrate the men and women who bravely served our nation and made it safe, strong, free, powerful and great! God bless them & America! “.
The following day, June 15, 2025, she extended warm wishes for Father’s Day. In her message, she acknowledged fathers who are no longer alive: “We wish all fathers a Happy Father’s Day and keep the memory of those who are no longer with us close to our hearts.”
On June 16, 2025, Malliotakis highlighted her role in securing federal funding aimed at enhancing transportation services for Staten Island residents. She tweeted: “ICYMI – This federal funding I helped secure for the St. George Terminal will improve the overall experience for Staten Island Ferry passengers.”
Nicole Malliotakis has been serving in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021. Prior to her congressional tenure, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and residing in Staten Island, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
