Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Congresswoman representing New York’s 11th district, posted a series of messages on March 17, 2026, reflecting on international relations and her personal heritage.

In her first post of the day, Malliotakis wrote: “As a member of the Friends of Ireland Caucus, it was a pleasure to join @USAmbIreland, @IrelandAmbUSA, & colleagues to welcome @POTUS Trump and Ireland’s Prime Minister @MichealMartinTD to the U.S. Capitol for the annual #StPatricksDay luncheon https://t.co/5Wjqdp8tEq” (March 17, 2026).

Later that evening, she commented on conditions in Cuba with a personal note: “For 67 years Cubans including my relatives have lived in misery, working as slaves for the communist regime for $10-15 a month with little access to food, medicine & basic things we take for granted. Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021. Before serving in Congress, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age 42, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
