U.S. Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district in Congress, posted a series of statements on social media between February 4 and 5, 2026, addressing law enforcement support, border security, and animal welfare.
On February 4, Malliotakis emphasized her commitment to law enforcement by stating: “I will always support our brave men and women in law enforcement and ensure they have the tools and resources they need to do their jobs safely and effectively. This funding delivers critical equipment that strengthens public safety for our community.”
The following day, she commented on crime trends related to migration policy: “In 2024, our nation faced an open border crisis with foreign criminals released onto our streets and more than 16,000 crimes tied to NYC’s migrant shelters. Today, crime is down and that’s thanks to @POTUS & @HouseGOP restoring border security and enforcing the rule of law.” The post credits recent declines in crime rates to increased border security measures.
Later on February 5, Malliotakis addressed animal welfare issues by supporting alternatives to animal testing: “I support these efforts 100%. We need more animal sanctuaries and less antiquated animal testing! @NIH”
Malliotakis has served as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th District since 2021 after replacing Max Rose. She previously held office in the New York State Assembly from 2011 until her election to Congress. Born in New York City in 1980, she currently resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University (BA) and Wagner College.
