Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, has recently posted a series of messages on her official account addressing local and national issues, as well as community engagement opportunities.
On February 14, 2026, Malliotakis criticized Democratic lawmakers’ decisions regarding law enforcement funding: “Democrats at the local level cut $1 billion from the NYPD in 2020…Now, on the federal level, they are refusing the fund federal law enforcement, the Coast Guard, cybersecurity & counterterrorism. Whose side are they on?”
In a message dated February 16, 2026, she encouraged student participation in an essay contest: “Happy Presidents’ Day! We’re accepting essays from students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade until Friday February 27. “
Malliotakis also marked a cultural celebration with her post on February 17, 2026: “Happy Lunar New Year! May this year of the horse be filled with peace, prosperity, and success for you and your loved ones.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th congressional district since defeating Max Rose in the 2020 election and taking office in January 2021. Before her tenure in Congress, she served as a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island at age forty-two, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
