Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, shared a series of posts on her official account in November 2025 highlighting her support for veterans, opposition to animal testing at federal agencies, and her stance on government funding.
On November 11, Malliotakis posted: “Today, we honor the brave men & women who answered the call to serve our nation. I’m proud to represent so many veterans from Staten Island & Brooklyn & will always work to ensure they receive the care, benefits & respect they’ve earned. We are forever grateful for their service.”
The following day, she wrote about her collaboration with an advocacy group: “Happy to have worked with @WhiteCoatWaste to end inhumane and unnecessary animal testing at the @DeptVetAffairs. We must now stop these antiquated and costly experiments all across the federal government!” (November 12).
Later that evening, Malliotakis addressed ongoing debates over government funding: “Just like I did back in September, I will be voting tonight to fully fund our government and END the #SchumerShutdown. Don’t be surprised if I’m the only representative for #NYC that does. After all, Chuck Schumer & Hakeem Jeffries spent this week advocating for the shutdown to” (November 12).
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and currently resides in Staten Island. Her academic background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
