Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, used her official account to highlight recent legislative actions and meetings in Congress over the past two days.
On February 11, 2026, Malliotakis announced that “Today @HouseGOP passed legislation aimed to secure our elections by requiring proof of U.S. citizenship at registration & voter ID before entering the booth—supported by over 80% of Americans.”
The following day, she shared a visit from a notable guest: “U.S. Special Ambassador to Hollywood, @jonvoight, stopped by our office to thank our team for our work to renew Section 181 to keep & expand film and television production in the United States. Many productions from Blue Bloods to Boardwalk Empire to Fallout were made in our” (posted on February 12, 2026).
Later on February 12, Malliotakis posted about new law enforcement legislation: “Today, the House passed H.R. 2189 Law-Enforcement Innovate to De-Escalate Act, legislation that I cosponsored, which will support law enforcement and public safety by ensuring law enforcement has the non-lethal tools needed to keep our streets safe.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district since defeating Max Rose in 2021 and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 until her election to Congress. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
