Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who serves New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account regarding legislative efforts and local initiatives.
On December 4, 2025, Malliotakis discussed her focus on strengthening the United States’ medical supply chain during a roundtable with the House Ways and Means Committee and U.S. Trade Representative Greer. She stated, “At this week’s @WaysandMeansGOP roundtable with @USTradeRep Greer, I highlighted my medical supply chain bill as a way to build on the Trump Administration’s efforts to get our medical device and pharmaceutical supply chain out of Communist China. By working with friendlier &”.
The following day, December 5, she addressed concerns about police staffing levels in New York City. In her post, Malliotakis wrote, “This is horrifying and the @NYPDnews remains thousands of officers below its September 11, 2001 levels. While we continue pushing the city to hire more police, I’m proud to introduce new bipartisan legislation that authorizes additional transit security funding that can be used”.
Later on December 5, Malliotakis highlighted her meeting with Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins at a Staten Island clinic. She noted improvements in veterans’ services: “It was a pleasure to welcome @SecVetAffairs Doug Collins to our Staten Island clinic to discuss ways to improve services for our veterans. Already this year, the Trump administration and Congress worked together to increase funding & reduce wait times and backlogs for veterans’”.
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and currently resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
