Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, posted a series of updates on December 17, 2025, highlighting recent legislative actions and community events involving her office.
In one post from December 17, Malliotakis announced the passage of new legislation: “.@HouseGOP passed the Kayla Hamilton Act, closing a dangerous loophole that allowed illegal immigrant criminals & gangs to enter our country. Only 7 Democrats supported this bill that could have helped prevent tragedies like the murder of Kayla Hamilton.” The bill aims to address concerns regarding immigration enforcement and public safety.
Later that day, she shared details about another legislative initiative crafted in the House Ways and Means Committee: “Legislation crafted in our @WaysandMeansGOP committee will make children who are U.S. citizens born between Jan. 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2028 are eligible to receive the $1,000 government contribution into their accounts to start off their savings!” This measure is intended to provide financial support for young U.S. citizens.
Malliotakis also noted her office’s participation in a local law enforcement recognition event: “Our office attended this year’s Police Appreciation Luncheon and Community Recognition Awards hosted by the Health Essential Association and honoring officers from @NYPD62Pct and @NYPD68Pct. Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
