Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, shared a series of posts on her official account this week highlighting recent legislative actions and economic developments.
On December 17, Malliotakis wrote, “Today @HouseGOP passed legislation to lower healthcare premiums for all Americans, expand access for employees of small businesses & force PBMs to be more transparent. It’s a good start as we continue our fight for commonsense, bipartisan reforms to lower health insurance &”.
The following day, she commented on the latest inflation data: “In November, inflation fell to 2.7%, beating expectations of 3.1% and the best core inflation numbers in nearly 5 years! @POTUS Trump and @HouseGOP are driving down inflation, interest rates & making America affordable again!” (December 18).
Later that day, Malliotakis addressed housing costs under different administrations: “Under Joe Biden and Democrats, annual mortgage costs increases by $15,000 and the average age of first time homebuyers increased from 33 to 40 years old. In the first year of @POTUS Trump and @HouseGOP control, the annual cost of mortgages are down thousands of dollars and will” (December 18).
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021. Prior to her congressional tenure, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
