U.S. Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who represents New York’s 11th district and has served in Congress since 2021, posted a series of updates on social media in mid-October 2025 regarding legislative efforts, local events, and federal government operations.
On October 14, Malliotakis announced her involvement in a bipartisan initiative to support the American film industry. She wrote, “I joined @RepJudyChu and @POTUS’s Ambassador to Hollywood @JonVoight in our op-ed on our bipartisan bill to extend the only federal tax incentive keeping film production in the U.S. It’s set to expire this year—putting American jobs & projects at risk. https://t.co/ptRsASvBqX” (posted October 14, 2025).
Later that day, Malliotakis shared information about an upcoming community event organized by the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district since defeating Max Rose in the 2020 election and taking office in January 2021. Prior to her tenure in Congress, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis is an alumna of Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
