Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, addressed economic and senior citizen issues in a series of posts on December 3, 2025. The tweets covered topics including corporate inversions, inflation rates under different administrations, and her participation in a town hall with AARP New York.

In one post, Malliotakis stated: “Under President Obama, 71 American companies went overseas & took their jobs with them. But after passage of President Trump’s Tax Cut & Jobs Act, no more companies fled—putting an END to corporate inversions while preserving jobs, intellectual property & innovation here at home.” (December 3, 2025)

Addressing inflation trends under recent administrations, she wrote: “Under Biden & one party Democrat rule, Inflation rose from 1.4% to a whopping 9.1%

When @HouseGOP took control in 2023 & ENDED Democrats’ wasteful spending it declined.

Today, with a Republican trifecta, inflation is 3% — 1/3 of what it was when Democrats had complete control.” (December 3, 2025)

Malliotakis also discussed her outreach efforts to seniors: “I was glad to join @AARPNY’s telephone town hall this morning to answer questions directly from constituents and discuss the work we’re doing to support seniors and the family members who care for them. I also highlighted the steps we’re taking to improve Social Security customer” (December 3, 2025)

Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021 and previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She was born in New York City in 1980 and resides in Staten Island. Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
