Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district and co-founder of the Congressional Ferry Caucus, used her official account to highlight recent congressional activities and policy priorities in a series of posts on January 13 and 14, 2026.
On January 13, Malliotakis shared that “Our Congressional Ferry Caucus met with labor and industry leaders to discuss how Congress can better support ferry service, infrastructure, workforce training and retention across the country. Nicole is a proud co-founder of the caucus & has delivered millions in federal funding” (posted at 21:20 UTC).
Later that day, she advocated for progress on a national museum project focused on women’s history, stating “Women make up more than half of our nation’s population and this effort to build a museum dedicated to the pioneering and trailblazing women who came before us should not be held up any longer! @HouseGOP @SpeakerJohnson @MZanona” (posted at 22:18 UTC).
On January 14, Malliotakis commented on legislative accomplishments from the previous year: “In 2025, @POTUS and @HouseGOP delivered historic tax relief for working Americans and seniors, secured our border & deported criminals, and brought down gas, mortgage, interest rates, while securing trillions in private investment to grow GDP.” (posted at 15:01 UTC).
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th district since replacing Max Rose in Congress in 2021. Prior to her current role in Congress, she served as a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 until her election to Congress. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, Malliotakis holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
