Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district and a Staten Island resident, recently shared updates on community engagement and tax season information through her official social media account.
On January 24, 2026, Malliotakis posted about participating in local cultural festivities: “Enjoyed celebrating Pongal with the Tamil community of Staten Island and thank the students and their teachers for the beautiful dance and cultural presentation!”
The following day, she highlighted her attendance at a community event honoring a fallen firefighter: “Nicole joined our new NYC Council Minority Leader @DMCarr & former Minority Leader @JoeBorelliNYC at the Carl Bini Memorial Fund’s gala. Through this foundation, the memory and selflessness of @FDNY Firefighter Bini, who was killed on 9/11, lives on.” This post references the work of the Carl Bini Memorial Fund in preserving the legacy of FDNY Firefighter Bini.
On January 26, 2026, Malliotakis addressed constituents regarding financial matters as tax season began: “As tax season begins, I want to remind working Americans, middle-class families, and senior citizens that they have more tax deductions and credits to take advantage of when they file their returns to keep more money in their pockets instead of Uncle Sam’s.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021. She succeeded Max Rose in Congress. Born in New York City in 1980, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
