U.S. Representative Nicole Malliotakis, who serves New York’s 11th district, highlighted legislative developments and trade initiatives in a series of posts on December 10, 2025.

In one post, Malliotakis discussed the African Growth & Opportunity Act (AGOA), stating, “The African Growth & Opportunity Act (AGOA) has significantly increased trade between the USA & African nations, improved fair treatment & market access for American companies and promoted human rights & democracy for allies. Today @WaysandMeansGOP voted for a 3 year extension.” (December 10, 2025).

She also commented on pharmaceutical pricing under former President Trump’s administration. In her words: “Under @POTUS Trump, we’re already seeing lower negotiated costs through TrumpRX, which has secured agreements with pharmaceutical companies to reduce the price of medications including weight loss and IVF drugs. I look forward to continuing our work to make prescriptions and https://t.co/u0LjlXFnQ6” (December 10, 2025).

Malliotakis addressed economic policy toward Haiti as well: “Haiti’s apparel manufacturing industry helps address political instability & economic turmoil while supporting the USA’s goal of divesting from China and near-shoring our supply chain. That’s why @WaysandMeansGOP voted for a 3 year extension of the Haiti Economic Life Program.” (December 10, 2025).

Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021. She previously served in the New York State Assembly from 2011 to 2021 and is a lifelong resident of Staten Island. Born in New York City in 1980, she holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
