Malliotakis, who has been an active member of the U.S. Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021, shared her thoughts on counterterrorism efforts and education reforms and engaged with labor union members.
On April 7, 2025, Malliotakis emphasized the importance of international cooperation in security matters, stating that, “The counterterrorism and maritime security cooperation between the United States, Greece, Israel, and Cyprus is an important one and we must continue to improve and strengthen it.”
The following day, April 8, 2025, she signaled her support for educational initiatives after meeting a representative from the Brooklyn Diocese, expressing the sentiment that, “We were happy to welcome Vincent LeVien from the Roman Catholic @BrooklynDiocese to Washington to discuss progress in our efforts for an education tax credit to give parents’ school choice.”
Later that day, she praised the efforts of labor unions in advocating for infrastructure development, noting, “The members of @LIUNA have been great partners in fighting to preserve Davis-Bacon and expanding our infrastructure. It was great to welcome these union construction workers from New York to further discuss our shared legislative priorities.”
