Nicole Malliotakis, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 11th district, has been vocal on several key issues through her official Twitter account. Her recent posts highlight her stance on local law enforcement policies, tax relief measures, and legislative achievements.
On May 19, 2025, Malliotakis expressed her concerns about New York City’s sanctuary policy in relation to a recent attack. She stated that “This attack should have never happened but NYC’s sanctuary policy enables violent criminals to roam our streets. We call for prosecutors & local authorities to not allow any leniency & cooperate fully with @ICEgov.“
Later that day, she announced progress on tax relief measures she supports, sharing that “Last night, tax relief measures championed by Nicole cleared another hurdle…the Budget Committee!“
In another post from May 19, 2025, Malliotakis celebrated the signing of the Take It Down Act into law by President Biden. She remarked that “Today @POTUS signed the Take It Down Act, bipartisan legislation I co-sponsored, into law! Together we’re protecting women (and men) from becoming victims of digital exploitation.“
Malliotakis has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Max Rose and previously served in the New York State Assembly for a decade. Born in New York City in 1980 and currently residing in Staten Island, she is an alumna of Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
