Nicole Malliotakis, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 11th district, shared her views and activities through a series of tweets on June 18 and 19, 2025. Her posts ranged from media appearances to international concerns and reflections on American economic institutions.
On June 18, Malliotakis announced her upcoming appearance on a radio show: “Coming up on @CatsRoundtable on @77WABCradio from 5-6pm with my good friends @JCats2013 and @RitaCosby!” This indicates her engagement with media platforms to discuss relevant topics with notable personalities.
The following day, she expressed concern over the lack of congressional briefings regarding an international issue: “Congress should have already been briefed on the escalating Israel-Iran conflict, any threats to our homeland or stationed military and the possible actions being considered by the administration.” This highlights her emphasis on transparency and preparedness concerning national security matters.
Later that day, Malliotakis reflected on a significant American financial institution: “Since 1792, the New York Stock Exchange—the world’s largest—has been an essential part of the American economy and capitalism. We’re proud to have it here in our great city!” She acknowledged the historical importance of the New York Stock Exchange in contributing to both local pride and broader economic stability.
Malliotakis has served in Congress since replacing Max Rose in 2021. Prior to this role, she was a member of the New York State Assembly from 2011 until her election to Congress. Born in New York City in 1980, she resides in Staten Island and holds degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
