Nicole Malliotakis, U.S. Representative for New York’s 11th district, recently highlighted legislative efforts and policy developments in a series of posts on her official social media account.
On December 18, 2025, Malliotakis stated, “New York is one of 23 states that currently uses Medicaid dollars to pay for gender-altering care for children. Today, we passed commonsense legislation that protect both children and taxpayers.” This post referenced the passage of new legislation related to Medicaid funding and gender-related healthcare for minors.
The following day, December 19, 2025, she addressed animal welfare issues by posting, “We joined @WhiteCoatWaste & colleagues in this successful effort to stop cruel, inhumane and unnecessary experiments on innocent animals. There’s more to do but we’re very proud of the progress being made!” The statement credited collaborative efforts with advocacy groups to halt certain types of animal testing.
Later that same day, Malliotakis commented on economic conditions: “As gas prices continue to decrease to their lowest level in four years under Republican leadership, Americans are saving more money on holiday travel.”
Malliotakis has represented New York’s 11th District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving a decade in the New York State Assembly. She was born in New York City in 1980 and resides in Staten Island. Her educational background includes degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College.
