Nicole Malliotakis, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New York’s 11th district, has shared several updates on legislative efforts and priorities through social media. Her recent posts highlight her work in extending telehealth services, advocating for tax relief, and addressing Medicaid issues.

On March 10, 2025, Malliotakis announced that their funding bill successfully extends Medicare telehealth services through September 30, 2025. She emphasized her role in securing this extension to ensure continued access to telehealth for senior citizens and those on Medicare. “Happy to report our funding bill extends Medicare telehealth services through September 30, 2025. I fought to secure this extension to ensure that senior citizens and those on Medicare can continue accessing telehealth without disruptions to their care.”

The following day, March 11, she highlighted the committee’s ongoing efforts to provide relief for American families and businesses. She reiterated her commitment to advocating for lower taxes for seniors on social security, SALT relief for middle-class families, and critical supply chain manufacturing initiatives. “Our committee is putting in the work to deliver relief for American families & businesses. I’ll continue advocating for my priorities—lower taxes for seniors on social security, SALT relief for middle-class families & critical supply chain manufacturing!”

Later that day, Malliotakis addressed the issue of Medicaid waste, fraud, and abuse both in New York and nationwide. She called it a fiduciary responsibility to protect taxpayers and maintain the integrity of the program essential for vulnerable citizens. “We must root out Medicaid waste, fraud, and abuse, which are rampant in New York and across the nation. This shouldn’t be political issue—we have a fiduciary responsibility to protect taxpayers and this important program for the vulnerable citizens who rely on it.”
