Nicole Malliotakis, the U.S. Congress representative for New York’s 11th district since 2021, recently shared her views on various issues on social media. Malliotakis, who has a background in both the New York State Assembly and academia with degrees from Seton Hall University and Wagner College, provides insight into ongoing economic and social matters.
On April 22, 2025, she noted the significant influx of trillions in private investment into the United States over the previous three months. Expressing optimism, she highlighted “trillions in private investment as foreign and domestic companies expand their footprint and manufacturing capabilities” in the country.
The following day, April 23, 2025, Malliotakis emphasized her stance on financial matters concerning state reimbursements. She clearly stated her position with “Cutting waste, fraud and abuse: YES! Cutting reimbursement rates to New York and other states: NO WAY!“
On the same day, she addressed concerns over antisemitism, linking it to recent activities in New York. She asserted that the prevalent issue is allowed to fester due to a lack of accountability, stating: “Unfortunately, this is not surprising. When New York colleges have allowed antisemitism to run rampant, people march in the streets waving Hamas and Hezbollah flags without accountability & hate crimes are reduced or dropped entirely, it allows antisemitism to fester.“
Additional background on Nicole Malliotakis includes her political role representing New York’s 11th district in the U.S. Congress since 2021. Prior to this, she served in the New York State Assembly from 2011. Born in 1980 in New York City, she resides in Staten Island.
